What would you do if you have never seen the sun? would you even believe in it completely?

Margot’s classmates wouldn’t believe the way she described the sun, but she had seen it seven
years ago, and she remembered.

Planet Venus has been raining for over 7 years. The kids had been learning about the sun and they
wrote about it, but, they have never seen the sun. Margot looked like she has been lost in the rain
in that period of time. For years she dreamed about the sun and her classmates treated her
differently because of that.

I think the story communicates that being different is hard. Because no one tries to actually trust
people that are different and that are dreamers. It’s also very clear that Margot’s classmates did
not believe the things she said about the sun like “it is like a penny”. At the end of the day,
Margot’s classmates saw the sun after locking Margot in a closet where she couldn’t get out

I think its very selfish of Margot’s classmates to not let her dream about the sun.
