ORIENTATION OF PARENTS
Last 17 August 2022, the school conducted orientation in preparation for the school year 2022-2023.
There are the reasons why the parent orientation program is important: (1) Helps parents know their child’s
interests (2) Improves Academic Growth (3) A better understanding of the programs and projects for the
school year (4) Voice opinions from stakeholders (5) Knowledge of the new technologies and strategies
amidst COVID-19 implemented by the school (6) Increases motivation & confidence in students.

The program started by a prayer by Mr. Joel E. Valdriz to ask guidance from above. Gonzalo Abat
Jr., the active PTA president, gave his opening remarks and focused on the academic successes from the last
school for SY 2021–2022 and his plans for the upcoming school year. The magnanimous school principal,
Dr. Maribel C. Reyes welcomed the parents, presented the SRNHS family with a big smile and with
enthusiasm. Miscelleaneosu fees was discussed by the proactive Asst. Principal II, Dr. Sheryl L Padua and
also the breakdown. The Health protocols was discussed by the hardworking Clinic teacher, Mrs. Melanie S.
Fiesta for the safety and other health related topics. Furthermore, the Brigada Contest was emphasized by
the Brigada Over-all Coordinator, Dr. Joseph M. Padua namely Best Reading Corner, Face-to-Face ready
classroom and Best Brigada Implementer. The Eco-friendly Program Coordinator, Mr. Adrianne Paul Eslava
emphasized waste segregation and cleaning and greening programs for the school. Consequently, Mrs.
Catherine Irene U. Kanlas, Head Teacher II of Languages Department explained to the parents the
importance pf reading. She also challenged the teachers to be creative in putting up their Reading Corner.
Lastly, Gulayan Sa Paaralan was briefly discussed by the active Head Teacher III of TLE and MAPEH
Department and encourage learners to have Gukayan Sa Tahanan.

The program ended with the ever dynamic emcee, Mrs. Jovy B. Licos and Mr. Nelson Laconsay
