Barangay Capt. Ranel Cordero, that my late father was included in the list of gun owners with
expired license and covered by “Operation Katok” of the Philippine National Police Amadeo
Municipal Station;

13. We were surprised by this development because since 2001, we migrated to the
United States of America and continuously lived there since then while my late father lived in
Amadeo, Cavite together with my mother;

14. During the lifetime of my late father, he never told me, nor my only sibling, Benilda
Teodoro Magpantay, anything about a gun in our household;

15. I asked my mother who is 92 years of age about the existence of said gun and she
told me that my late father never owned any gun and the she never saw such gun in the
possession of my late father;

16. I have no personal knowledge about the gun being attributed to my late father;

17. I executed this affidavit to attest to the truth and veracity of the foregoing statements

19. On September 6, 2022, a police officer from Dasmariñas City Police Station went to
our house and asked me about the expired licensed and the whereabouts of the aforesaid firearm
of my husband and to immediately surrender the said firearm in the proper authorities concerned;

20. I immediately called my husband concerning the whereabouts of his aforesaid

firearm and he told me that he entrusted his firearm to his father Edgardo Argarin before he went to
abroad, thus, I went to my father-in-law and asked him for the whereabouts of the firearm of my
said husband;

21. My father-in-law told me that he buried the firearm inside their Kubo in their farm at
Malinta Barangay Sampaloc II, Dasmariñas City, Cavite. We went to the farm to get the said
firearm in order to surrender the same to the proper authorities concerned;

22. However, upon reaching the Kubo, we discovered that the aforesaid firearm of my
husband ERICKSON PEJI ARGARIN was missing and despite all diligent efforts exerted to locate
the same but to no avail;

23. I and my father-in-law even looked and searched the aforesaid firearm inside and
outside of the Kubo but we did not find the same;

24. I executed this affidavit to attest to the truth and veracity of the foregoing statements
and for all legal intents and purposes this may serve.

4. Fortunately after two weeks my said jeep was recovered by the police at
Salawag Dasmariñas, Cavite, however, when I inspected my vehicle I discovered that my
above-mentioned firearm was no longer in my vehicle and despite all my diligent efforts
exerted to recover the same but to no avail and nowhere to be found;

cabinet;

27. Sometime in March 2012, I decided to clean my firearm;

28. However, when I looked for it, I discovered that my said firearm was
missing and despite all my diligent efforts exerted to locate the same up to this moment, I
failed to locate it;

29. I even asked my friends, relatives and neighbors if they have seen my
firearms but my inquiries yielded negative results as nobody has seen it;

30. I executed this affidavit to attest to the truth and veracity of the foregoing
statements, to apprise the proper authorities concerned of the loss of my above-mentioned
firearm and for all legal intents and purposes this may serve.
