ACTIVITY TITLE: CWTS103 Week-2 Essay
REALIZATION, INSIGHT AND LEARNINGS
Choose one (1) SDG discussed in Week-2. Identify a particular problem on the SDG chosen. Share
your thoughts on how you are going to contribute to the solution of the problem you identified.
Student’s Answer:

SDG #2, "Zero hunger," is the SDG I decided to support. Goal 2 aims to ensure
food security and find long-term solutions to abolish all types of hunger by 2030. The
goal is to guarantee that everyone, everywhere has access to enough wholesome food to
maintain a healthy lifestyle. Better food access and extensive promotion of sustainable
agriculture are necessary to meet this goal. This involves fostering fair access to land,
technology, and markets, sustainable food production systems, and resilient
agricultural techniques in order to increase the productivity and incomes of small-scale
farmers.

Large quantities of food are abandoned or thrown on the off chance that they
aren't sold, so there is never a shortage. The unmarketable food should be distributed to
society in case it is safe to be consumed rather than being left to deteriorate and become
waste. On the earth, there are enough resources to provide for everyone. Therefore, no
one should be going hungry. Recently, local food storage facilities have been opening,
allowing people to provide food types consciously and receive food sources according to
their needs.

The commitment I could make as a student to start an online fundraising

campaign is common on Facebook. The coordinator is free to set an objective total, and
donations are gathered and displayed in an appropriate manner. Even if the total
donations are insufficient to cover the entire community, the support would mostly be
given to those who are on the streets and are in dire need. Value is important compared
to equity. Not everyone who receives support would be grateful because some people
object to what is promoted. Other folks who find it challenging to plan their daily meals
would much enjoy the assistance.
