2. Differentiate the following in less no than 3 sentences and create your OWN problem with solutions.
What is Frequency?
What is Wavelength?
What is Gain and Attenuation?
The rate at which something occurs or is repeated during a specific time period or in a specific
sample is known as its frequency. The distance between waves' crests, particularly those in sound
waves or electromagnetic waves, is known as their wavelength. Before any processing, gain
determines how loud something is, while attenuation refers to a loss or reduction of intensity or
energy.
Wavelength:
λ = c/f
λ = 3x10^8m/s / 2.5x10^12
λ = 1.2x10^20 m
Frequency:
f = 1/T
f = 1 / 12,000
f = 8.3hz
Gain:
dB = 20log V out/ V in
dB = 20log (13/45)
dB = 10.78 or 10.8
dB = 20log I out/ I in
dB = 20log (17/15)
dB = 1.08
dB = 10log P out/ P in
dB = 10log (20/22)
dB = -0.41
