Purposive Communication

I. Kindly evaluate the multimodal text of how an incorrect use of semiotic feature
changes the meaning of the text

From the picture, I observed that it has no proper capitalization of letters and proper
spacing. Without a space between the words "Kids" and "Exchange," you get a whole new
meaning, which we are pretty sure the store owner didn't intend. The correct
punctuation should always be encouraged. Yet another great example of a simple
kerning issue that would have saved this company a great deal of embarrassment and
humiliation. Because of the wrong use of semiotics the meaning of the text changed.
People may misinterpret it. They may think that it means children are changing sex.
They can improve their brand messaging by using proper semiotic features. So that the
meaning of the text can clearly absorbed by the customers or by the readers.
