ACTIVITY #7
Choose a game that you or someone you know plays a lot on a smartphone (for
example, Candy Crush Saga, Fortnite, or Minecraft). Consider how the game could be
played using different interfaces other than the smartphones. Select three different
interfaces (for instance, tangible, wearable, and shareable) and describe how the game
could be redesigned for each of
these, taking into account the user group being targeted. For example, the tangible
game could be designed for children, the wearable interface for young adults, and the
shareable interface for older people.
1. Compare the pros and cons of designing the game using the three different interfaces
with respect to how it is played on the smartphone.

ANSWER:

Mobile Legends is a mobile-optimized multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game.

The game is available for free and is only monetized through in-game purchases such
as characters and skins. Each player controls a unique "Hero" character with unique
abilities and traits.
The main purpose of heroes is defined by six roles: "Tank," "Marksman," "Assassin,"
"Fighter," "Mage," and "Support." These roles define each player's responsibilities for
their respective teams. Players can also create custom builds for their heroes, which
include in-game items and emblems. In real-time, two teams of five players compete
against each other. Players will be matched according to their current ranking. The
lowest rank in the game is "Warrior," followed by "Elite," "Master," "Grandmaster,"
"Epic," "Legend," and the highest rank, "Mythic." A player can only invite and form a
team with other players of the same rank or players one rank higher or lower.

The main goal of victory is to destroy the opposing base. The game has three lanes: the
gold lane (at the top), the exp lane (at the bottom), and the mid lane. The gold and exp
lanes will swap places depending on which side of the map a player starts on (blue or
red). The jungle lies between each lane. The jungle is divided into four sections: two
between the enemy's lanes and two between the lanes of a player's team. The jungle is
home to a variety of creeps and monsters that provide buffs, experience, and gold. A
player cannot directly attack the enemy base without first destroying opposing turrets in
at least one lane. Each lane is equipped with three turrets that fire at heroes and deal
massive damage. To attack them without taking damage, a player must enlist the
assistance of their team's "minions." Minions constantly spawn at the bases of the
teams and travel down each lane. The team that successfully destroys all the turrets in
one or more lanes has a better chance of destroying the opposing team's base. The
gameplay is similar in classic mode. Winning or losing a match, on the other hand, has
no effect on a player's ranking. Players can also form a whole team regardless of rank
differences and freely choose any heroes they want, in addition to the weekly free ones
and any trial cards they have.

This game is appropriate for both children and adults. It's also a game where you can
share your experience by live streaming it on Facebook.
