Introduction

Purpose: The purpose of this training is to outline the moving claim inspection process and define key
terms.

RLO Objective: Summarize the moving claims inspection process for the shipper.

Target Audience: The target audience for this course is the Furniture Medic franchise owners, office
managers, and technicians.

• Learners are between the ages of 22 – 65.


• Learners have a college degree, sales and/or technical background.
• The learner is familiar with repairs and repair estimates for furniture.
• The motivation for the franchise owner is to gain an income stream and a variety of repair
opportunities.
• The motivation for the Furniture Medic employee is to increase their skill sets and revenue as
they can support a variety of activities.
Scenario information:

• This course is a supplement tutorial presented as on-demand training.

• This is a self-paced, scenario-based course that allows the learner to practices customer service
skills with a shipper.
