G&E company is in the process of organizing plans for the construction of a new
Shoreline stadium within a capacity of 47000 people. The project is expected to start on 3rd July
2017 and be complete on 3rd April 2020. The project is expected to be completed in time to host
the baseball of the year 2020. Failure to commence the project on the stated dates will attract a
$250,000 penalty for each day that goes beyond the starting date. After a careful examination of
the terms of the contract with a good understanding of the project requirements, the President
opted to call a meeting to help create an understanding of the details of the project and determine
The project has several features that will be key for consideration in the decision-making
process. One of the project's major considerations is the critical path that outlines the project's
key activities and the possibility of the number of days the project will take to complete. The
project has a critical path that takes 695 days to complete. The various estimates have assured
G&E that the project will be completed within 695 days, considering the alternative critical paths
for the project (Larson & Gray, 2013). for the 3rd April and 3rd June of 2017, the project will have
a slack time of 54 days. This shows that the project will probably experience delays and thus
attract a penalty of $250,000 per day for the entire 54 day period. However, the project will offer
profitability of three million besides a brand value besides reputation for the company, which

Recommendations
The project team and project managers must recognize the impact of the three major
activities on the project, including demolition of buildings, laying of the lower-bowl concrete,
and installing the playground. These activities are key since their completion will mark the
commencement of the project activities (Larson & Gray, 2013). all other activities can only start
after completion of the first activities are complete. However, despite the possibility of the late
start, the project is feasible for the company and should be taken.
