Beginning:
Body:
I will read the story as students follow along on Class Kick.
Stop at page 1 paragraph 2 “what is the problem so far”
Stop page 2 paragraph 4 “Do you think Kevin will find the glasses, if so where?”
Stop page last paragraph “Where were the glasses, was your prediction right”
Students will work on completing class kick questions about the story.
I will model to them how to find question 1: “What was the first question Kevin asked his mom”
“What page do you think I will find the answer in “(the beginning page 1)
Let’s look back! I will model how to look back in the text to find the answer.
End:
Once students are done answering questions, they will turn in Class Kick, and we will go over
the answers
I will let students help out by reading the question and the answer they wrote.
