PROGRAM 01:

1. Create a natural scenery using Photoshop.

Step 1: Create a new file (Ctrl+N).


Step 2: Choose elliptical tool form the toolbar.
Step 3: Drop the elliptical shape in the frame.

Step 4: Choose a color for the petal and color it (Alt+Backspace).


Step 5: Create a duplicate layer along with petal (Ctrl+J).
Step 6: Select the transformshape from the edit menu (Ctrl+T).

Step 7: Rotate the petal as you wish.


Step 8: Press enter. Press Shift+Ctrl+Alt+T as many times you want the petals.

Step 9: Select rectangle tool, paste in the layer and choose a color and fill it.
Step 10: Choose an elliptical tool draw the leaf and press enter. And then color it.

Step 11: Create a new layer of the grass, place it and color it.
Step 12: if desired you can add clouds, birds. Now save the file a with theextension .psd.

PROGRAM 02:

2. Create Plastic Surgery for the Face using Photoshop


Step 1: Create a new file.
Step 2: Open a face picture as background image.

Step 3: Choose lasso tool to select the area of transformation.


Step 4: Create a new layer via copy.

Step 5: Select free transformation, edit the face as per your wish. Press enter.
Step 6: Select dodge tool and then patch up the face.

Step 7: Now save the file, with the extension .psd.

PROGRAM 03:

3. Create a see-through text using Photoshop.


Step 1: Open a background image for the text to be displayed.
Step 2: Create a new layer (Ctrl+T).
Step 3: Go to edit-> fill->change the foreground color as white.

Step 4: Change the opacity of the new layer to appropriately 70%.


Step 5: Add the text layer.
Step 6: Go to color palette choose black color and type the text.
Step 7: For CS6 select the tick mark in the option has to exit the text layer.

Step 8: Choose the type layer apply the transform and enter. To resize and movethe
text in the correct position.

Step 9: Press shift and click on layer1 and text layer to create a group.

Step 10: Select the type layer->go to blending option -> change the blend mode to
overlay and fill knockout to shadow.

Step 11: Repeat the same for layer1 if necessary.


Step 12: Save the file with .psd.

PROGRAM 04:

4. Create a webpage of displaying event brochure using Photoshop.


Step 1: Create a new file.
Step 2: Go to menu –> view -> ruler.

Step 3: Drag the ruler to create margins for top, bottom, left and right as desired.

Step 4: Create a new layer (can choose gradient, pattern and solid color) or open a
background image.

Step 5: Use text tool and type the content according to your desire.

Step 6: Save the file with the option save for web and devices.

PROGRAM 05:

5. Create a picture in existing image background in Coral Draw.


Step 1: Create a new file. Set paper size to A4 and change it to landscape mode.
Step 2: Go to file and click import.

Step 3: Choose the image you want to insert in the background image.

Step 4: Click and drag the image wherever you want in the workspace.
Step 5: Select freehand tool in the tool box and draw the lines on the part of the
image you want to insert in the background.

Step 6: Go to effects ->power click place inside container.

Step7: A dark arrow will appear click the arrow on the shape which you havecreated
or selected to see the extracted image.

Step 8: To edit the image location go to effects -> power click -> edit contents.After
editing click on finish editing the object.

Step 9: Import the image which you want to have as background image.

Step 10: Go to arrange -> order -> to back of page.


Step 11: save the file as .cdr.

PROGRAM 06:

6. Create a 3D text using Corel Draw.


Step 1: Create a new file change the page size to landscape.

Step2: select text tool and type.


Step 3: Go to toolbar select interactive tools, select interactive extrude tool.
Step 3.1: Go to effects -> choose the artistic media, click on any curves, a pencil
cursor will appear.

Step 4: Right click select convert to artistic text.


Step 4.1: Go to effects -> click add perspective to have different view/perspective.
Step 5: Drag the control points to create a 3D text.
Step 6: Select rotate option to rotate the text as desired.

Step 7: Select any colors from the color panel.


Step 8: Select a drop shadow tool from interactive tool and apply.
Step 9: select an envelope tool place the cursor in the control points and drag
appropriately.
Step 10: Go to effects option and choose add perspective to have the different lookand
feel of the text.

Step 11: choose a rectangle tool and draw and drawit as a background.
Step 12: Select fountain fill dialogue from fill tool and change the color of the
background.

Step 12.1: choose the custom option and linear type.


Step 13: same can be done for text also.
Step 14: Save the program.

PROGRAM 07:

7. Design a business card for a company embed photo in coral draw.


Step 1: create a new file.
Step 2: choose option A3 for paper size.

Step 3: choose a rectangle tool paste it on the paper.


Step 4: Adjust the size of the card to be approximately 9.3cm width 5.2 cm height.

Step 5: Zoom the card and design your card and customize it.

Step 6: Go to arrange menu -> transformation -> position.


Step 7: Position the card 3 per row and copy the entire business card by control
+a.

Step 8: Adjust the relative position option and apply duplicate and we can
duplicate the number of cards we want.

PROGRAM 08:

8. Create a Banner for marriage function using Corel Draw.


Step 1: Create a new file change the page type to landscape.

Step 2: Choose a rectangle tool, place it on the page.

Step 3: Choose a fill tool or interactive fill tool to give color design and pattern
forthe rectangle.

Step 4: Go to file -> import any two pictures of bride and groom place it on thepage
accordingly.

Step 5: Use the text tool to fill in the content for the wedding banner invitation.
Step 6: Save the program.

PROGRAM 09:

9. Create advertisement for a textile company in coral draw.


Step 1: Open a new file then change the page size to landscape and choosewebpage
(600*300).
Step 2: Import a background image.

Step 3: Select the text tool and then type your text i.e. name of the company and
import the logo along with the text.
Step 4: Select text tool and type the document.

Step 5: Import the required images and type the text (add the maximum effects).
Step 6: Save the file

PROGRAM 10:

10. Animate Plane Flying in the Clouds using Photoshop / Flash.


Step 1: open a cloud image as a background

Step 2: Open a plane image in a new layer

Step 3: Choose Magic Wand tool and edit the plane image

Step 4: Copy the edited image and paste it in cloud layer

Step 5: Apply free transform, lock the layer and edit it

Step 6: Go to layer1, disable the visibility of the plane

Step 7: Select the channel option, select RED which is contrasting go and select all
and copy the layer.

Step 8: Choose RGB, select a layers enable the layer visibility by clicking the eye
icon and create a new mask layer

Step 9: To paste the selected layer in the mask layer, press alt+click and paste it
Step 10: Go to image -> adjustments ->invert to have an inverse selection in the
mask layer
Step 11: Go to windows -> animation, select duplicate frames to have the
animation effect, repeat it as many times as needed

Step 12: Select tween animation, add the number of frames needed

Step 13: Choose frame by frame and position the arrow plane as required

Step 14: Click on autorun to see the animated effect.

Pre-production and presentation Graphics:


Create a 7 – 10 slides presentation in your favorite presentation graphics
application (Power point is suggested)
Step 1: Create a Blank Representation

Step 2: Decide the concept of ppt [ eg: story / pdf demo / technology / general etc ]
Step 3: Add a title to presentation
Step 4: Type the content of the text using any Multimedia font [ eg : story ]
Step 5: Use diagramming tools smart art, Word Art to draw any Graphical
representation.
Step 6: Insert pictures clipart audio video images to explain any concept.

Step 7: Insert Hyperlinks of text to provide link with respective content


slide. Step 8: Apply Transition, animation, slideshow to all presentation
objects.

Program 13
Multimedia Sound:
Create 2 Sound tracks and 2 EFX sounds for previous project.
Step 1: Open Sound Forge 9.3
Step 2: Create a new file, select sample rate as 44100, depth of bit – 16-bit, channel
= 6 stereo

Step 3: Import any 2 music tracks by dragging and placing it in the editor.

Step 4: Each track has left and right track. Drag the mouse to select a particular
path of 1 track or both the track.
Step 5: Click onto effects , choose any 5 effects which doesn’t need license (
dissortion , chorus, delay , envelop , flange etc )

Step 6: Click on to process option. Choose any five options (insert, silence, invert,
mute, reverse)
Step 7: Save the file with the default file extention( .wav )

Program 14
Digital Video: Use video capture to digitize your video shoot to another video
source to create short production ( 15 – 45 seconds )
Step 1: Open Adobe Premiere Pro 3.0.

Step 2: Import two video from libraries. Drag it and paste it in the source window.

Step 3: Clip the videos by selecting Mark in and Mark out.

Step 4: Choose toggle take audio and video from the source window to select both
audio track and video track.

Step 5: Do the same for next Clip.


Step 6: Click on source window and place it in video1.
Step 7: Repeat the same for clip 2.

Step 8: To include a title choose the option title in the main menu. Give an
appropriate text.
Step 9: To add effects go to effects option choose CROSS DISSOLVE to have a
smooth transition of the text into the video.
Step 10: To end the video with black or white choose the option either dip in black or
dip in white.
Step 11: Click on to the timeline window. Go to export and save the file in respective
folder.

15. Create three basic web pages using Dreamweaver/Flash or other authoring
package or write bare html if you are able; pages must be linked and must
include at least one graphic per page.
Step 1: Open Macromedia DreamWeaver8.

Step 2: Select HTML option for coding.

Step 3: Select appropriate tags by going to menu -> insert -> tags.
Step 4: To give graphics effects use text color, background color, font, stylets.
Step 5: Go to page properties and give the desired effects.

Step 6: Link the pages using hyperlinks tag. Go to menu -> insert -> hyperlink.
Step 7: Choose a hyperlink option for linking the pages, by giving the text for linkand
thepage that has to be linked.
Step 8: Repeat the same steps for all the 3 pages.
Step 9: Save as .html file and view the output in browser.

Production Planning and Design:
Create a proposal of project. Include summary, Flowchart, elements and
resource lists
Step 1: Prepare a proposal for your project “XACTITUDE”.
Step 2: Prepare a summary for the above event in a ppt slide.
Step 3: Create a flowchart which includes team members of the project.
Eg: Produce Director executive technicians etc.
Step 4: Prepare a list of multimedia elements which will be a part of your project.
Step 5: Prepare the resource list which are needed for the productions of the
Project.
Step 6: Microsoft PowerPoint presentation is used for this pre productions and
planning proposal.
Step 7: Cost estimation also can be included in the proposal.
