No. Cause and Remedy a b c d e f g h i j
Pressure between stator/rotor still
1 too tight (when pump is new) or stator too tight.
Rotate pump by hand with the aid of tools.
Check direction of pump according to arrow.
2 If direction is wrong change the phase of motor.

3 Check suction line and shaft seal for leaks.

Check suction head if necessary, use bigger diameter suction

4 line -or larger size Iiltersuction valve must be fully opened.

5 Check viscosity of liquid

Check pump speed - check speed and amperage of

6 motor - check voltage and frequency.

7 Avoid airlocks in medium.

Check delivery head -valve in discharge line to be fully

8 opened -remove any blockage in discharge line.
Pump runs completely or partly
9 dry. Check whether sufficient
liquid on suction side.

10 Align coupling correctly.

11 Raise pump speed for thin media and large quantities.

12 Reduce -speed for highly viscous media avoid cavitation

13 Check lengthwise tolerance on coupling rod pin

Check pump for foreign bodies.

14 dismantle the pump, remove foreign
bodies and replace defective parts
Stator or rotor worn,
15 dismantle the pump. replace
defective parts
Eccentric joint and/or stator worn.
16 Dismantle the pump and replace defective parts.

17 Suction line partially or entirely blocked.

Check temperature of medium -stator expansion too

18 much -seized on rotor -possibly stator burnt out.

Stuffing box -change unserviceable packing rings, loosen

19 gland/tighten gland.

Proportion and/or diameter of solids too great -reduce pump

20 speed, install strainer before the pump.

Solids form hard sediment, when pump not in use flush pump
21 immediately and if necessary, dismantle and clean.

Medium solidifies under specified temperature limit-
