The learner prepare and keep basic personal financial records and do simple analysis and decision using financial records this activity can be done
through pre-activity (Groupings)
> Review the previous lesson on “Managing Debt”
> Introduce the new lessons on “Basic Record Keeping”
 Group the learners into two.
Activity: Give each group a paper strips and manila paper and let the learners identify the Money In and Money Out and post their answers on the
board and let the teacher explain the instruction.
Give another examples by posting a table chart and explain the lesson about the Money In (Income) and Money Out (expenses)
Let the learners do the Basic Record Keeping using a Simple format.
Emphasize the importance of expanding income (Money In) and prioritizing expenses (Money Out)
Explain to the learners that they will do a record-keeping activity and they will do it based on their real life situation and actual experiences.
The Importance of balancing the Income and Expenses.
Give the activity sheet to the learner by filling out the Column for Money In and Money out and compute if there is a positive or negative effect in
financial status..
