04 About the PVCC Brand and Style Manual
Piedmont Virginia Community College has promised to provide
opportunity, access and excellence in higher education to our
community. This promise is our brand and it’s vital that we deliver
on it every day through our programs, services, and the personal
interactions that we have with students and other clients with
whom we interact.
Another significant way in which we deliver on this promise is
through the images and communications about the college
that the public sees or hears. Accuracy, consistency and
clarity in these images and communications demonstrate our
commitment to excellence while strengthening our brand.
The PVCC Brand and Style Manual is a living reference, intended
to serve as a resource and starting point for communications
and creative pieces for anyone articulating and representing the
PVCC brand. This is intended to be a developing body of work
that will evolve over time. I hope you incorporate these guidelines
in your daily activity and continue to contribute to upholding the
integrity of the PVCC brand.
