The motifs of ancient Egyptian symbols are one of the most important things left behind for us by the ancient
Egyptians. Many of these motifs have been surrounded by mystery and secrets as they are closely linked to the life of
the ancient pharaohs clearly. The Pharaonic mark of Ankh is one of the most famous religious symbols of ancient
Egyptians and is considered the first talisman or amulet in ancient Egyptian doctrines. It symbolizes divinity,
resurrection, and eternity in eternal life. The Ankh sign has influenced so many different civilizations. It has spread to
various parts of the world and has become a symbol that wraps the world as one of the most important weird symbols
created by one of the greatest and oldest civilizations of mankind over the course of more than 4000 BC. Due to the
importance of the Pharaonic decorative heritage, it has been dealt with by many studies in a variety of ways and in a
variety of fields. The art of fashion design has had a lot of interest in Pharaonic motifs. However, none of these studies
focused on the Pharaonic Ankh sign and the related functional, aesthetic, and philosophical aspects of ancient Egyptian
art. The research problem is to revive the Ankh sign in the design of evening wear for women with innovative artistic
visions that keep pace with contemporary fashion trends. This age group is (20:45) for sizes (40:48). This study also
aims to shed light on the cultural aspects of the Ankh symbol to identify its distinctive features and historical origins
and the relationship between the form and function of this symbol in ancient Egyptian art. This research followed the
historical analytical approach along with the descriptive approach to answer research questions. The research results
yielded positive opinions of the three evaluation categories (specialists, consumers, and producers) through survey
themes of eight proposed designs of evening and nightdresses for women. Two of the three designs with the highest
scores were implemented by the evaluation categories. The results proved that the ancient Pharaonic symbol enriches
the design of evening and nightwear of women and is an effective source of inspiration and quotation. The researcher
recommends that attention be paid to studying our ancient history because of its multiple artistic and aesthetic visions
that enrich contemporary design trends and stimulate the innovative thinking of fashion designers by integrating
authenticity with contemporary in outfits with a distinctive pharaonic character.
