I. Objectives

At the end of the session, learners are expected to:

a. Identify the National Symbols of the Philippines


b. Name the National Symbols of the Philippines .
c. Value the importance of National Symbol.

II. Subject Matter

Topic : National Symbols of the Philippines

Materials : Visual aids, Cartolina, Marker, pictures and box

III. Procedure

A. Preliminary Activities

1. Prayer
The Teacher will choose a student to lead the prayer.
2. Greetings / Checking of Attendance

B. Motivation
● The teacher will introduce the game “ Mystery Box”.
● The teacher will ask the students to pick a picture in the box.

C. Lesson Proper
● The teacher will ask the students what are the pictures they got in the mystery box.
● The teacher will discuss the other National symbols of the Philippines.
● The student will identify the National Symbol that is being asked by the teacher.

D. Generalization
● The teacher will ask the students if what are the objects that is being described based on the
activity.

E. Application
● The teacher will show three boxes and the pupil will name each picture that is placed on the
box.

IV. Evaluation
The students will color the picture that is being described by the teacher.

V. Assignment
Print or cut out pictures of the National Symbols of the Philippines and paste it on your assignment
notebook.
