I am writing to express my interest in the Player Engagement and Basketball Operations Director
position for the Mickeal Sports Group, which I heard about through a current employee at the company.
I am a sophomore at Coastal Carolina University (CCU) and will graduate in May 2025 with a Bachelor of
Science in Recreation and Sport Management.

As you will note in my attached resume, I am majoring in Recreation and Sport Management, and have
developed strong skills in this area during my time at CCU. I recently assisted the LiveWell office at CCU
with coordinating the participation of the football team in a campus walk. This position has given me
experience in collegiate event planning and player engagement, which is essential to a career in
Recreation and Sport Management. Prior to my position as Student Athletic Coordinator, I held several
part-time positions in customer service. Most recently, I worked at Crazy Sister Marina where I provided
excellent customer service and managed reservations for trips. Finally, I have been actively involved on
campus by volunteering and participating in Recreation and Sports Management events. I participated in
a Recreation and Sport Management Alliance meeting at CCU. I also volunteered for the “Light Up the
Night 5K,” where I assisted in the implementation of the risk management plan for the running course
and did event clean up. My combined academic, extracurricular, and work experiences have enabled me
to develop outstanding analytical, interpersonal, financial, and leadership skills, which I believe would be
an asset to the Mickeal Sports Group.
