SUBJECT: Invitation for Local Chief Executives to the Philippine Health

Facility Development Plan 2020 - 2040 Advocacy Event

The Health Facilities and Infrastructure Development Team requests your assistance
in inviting Local Chief Executives (LCEs), especially newly elected officials, of provinces,
Highly Urbanized Cities (HUCs), and Independent Component Cities (ICCs) together with
their technical representatives to the advocacy event for the Philippine Health Facility
Development Plan (PHFDP) 2020 - 2040.

The event aims to

introduce and advocate the PHFDP to the LCEs, relative to crafting
their Local Health Facility Development Plans and its
translation into the Local Investment
Plans for Health. It is envisioned that the Province/City-Wide Health Systems (P/CWHS) are
the foundation of health service delivery in the context of Universal Health Care. As support
to the P/CWHS, the Department offers evidence-based needs projection and strategic
development goals which can be adapted by LGUs in
the development of health facilities in
their respective localities, towards the realization of the envisioned service delivery model in
the Universal Health Care Act.

The event will be done via online conferencing (Zoom) and be conducted in two (2)
batches as follows:
