GENERAL INSTRUCTION FOR THE CANDIDATES

1. The candidates are advised to reach the allocated examination centre as per the allotted date and time slot indicated against
reporting/entry time in the admit card.
2. No Candidate shall be allowed entry to the examination centre after the gate closing time, in any circumstances or due to any
reason.
3. Candidate should bring his/her admit card along with the original valid photo ID proof for admission to the examination centre
and also, shall produce these, on demand, to the centre-in-charge or his authorized representative.
4. Only bonafide candidates carrying Admit card and valid Photo Identity proof in original shall be allowed in the allocated exam
centre during the date and time slot allotted.
5. Valid Photo Identity Proofs are:
1.    Aadhaar Card                                    2. Driving License                               3. Voter ID
4.    Passport                                           5. PAN                                               6. E-Aadhaar Card Colour Print
The Photo Identity Proof needs to be original. Photocopies will not be accepted and candidate shall not be allowed to appear
for the    exam.
. No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination lab before the completion of the examination time for any reason,
without permission from the exam supervisors. If a candidate leaves the lab without permission of the exam supervisors,
he/she shall not be allowed to re-enter examination lab and his/her candidature shall be cancelled.
7. Candidate shall bring their own transparent blue/black ball point pen for use during the exam and shall not be allowed to share
or borrow Stationery items from other candidates.
. Personal belonging and prohibited items such as watches, bags, books, paper chits, magazines, electronic gadgets (Mobile
Phones,Bluetooth Devices, Head Phones, pen/Button Hole /Spy Camera, Scanner, Calculator, Storage Devices etc.) are strictly
not allowed in the examination hall and shall be kept outside the examination room at candidate’s own risk. The Selection
Board, Constable (Communication) shall not be responsible for such loss. If any such item is found from the possession of a
candidate in the examination hall, his/her candidature shall be liable to be rejected and legal/criminal proceedings shall be
initiated against the candidate.
9. Candidates are advised not to be bring valuable and any other personal belongings of high value while coming for the
examinations.The Selection Board, Constable (Communication) shall not be responsible to make arrangements for safe
custody of any such item.
10. All Candidates have to undergo the process of contactless frisking through Handheld Metal Detector (HHMD).
11. All Examination halls are under (CCTV) surveillance.
12. Candidates must sign the Attendance Sheet on the day of examination. In case a candidate leaves the examination hall without
signing the Attendance Sheet, his/her candidature shall be liable for cancellation.
13. Candidate shall not be allowed to access any unauthorized software/program during the examination.
14. Candidates are required to maintain complete silence during the examination. Communication in any from between candidates
or with outsiders is not permitted, and it will be treated as malpractice.
15. Candidates shall be allowed to use only mouse during the examination.
1 . Rough works need to be done only on the Rough Work Sheet provided by the exam invigilator at the examination hall. Candidate
should write his/her Roll No. on the page given for rough work and return the same to exam invigilator before leaving the exam
hall.
17. If the examination does not commence at the scheduled time or is interrupted midway due to any technical snag or for any
other reason, candidate should follow the instructions of the exam supervisors, they may have to wait patiently till the issue are
suitably addressed and resolved.
                             The Selection Board, Constable (Communication) would take appropriate action and decision in the matter
which would be final and would be binding on candidates in case the exam could not be completed.
1 . Candidate are assured that in case of disruption of examination for any reason such as major/minor technical snag or slow
speed of server/breakdown of server etc, they will not under any circumstances, lose the examination time to which they are
entitled.
19. Failure by candidate to observe any of the instruction mentioned herein, use of unfair means, indulgence in malpractice,
possession of any incriminating material, attempt for undue influence etc. during the examination shall render the candidate
liable for disqualification from the examination and other penalties as determined by the Selection Board, Constable
(Communication).
COVID 19 Precaution:
The Selection Board, Constable (Communication) will implement social distancing norms during the conduct of its Computer
Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) in the present scenario of covid-19 to ensure health and safety of the candidates.
Appropriate precautionary measures have been taken by the Selection Board, Constable (Communication) for fair and
transparent conduct of the examination without compromising on the safety of examiners and examinees. Candidates are
required to adhere to the guidelines for social distancing and hygiene in their own interest. Non-adherence of social distancing
norms and the following guidelines may lead to strict action against the erring candidate.

The candidates are required to note and follow the following instructions:

1. In light of covid-19 pandemic, the candidates are advised to reached the examination venue 90 minutes earlier from the
scheduled start time of examination so as to avoid last minute crowding at the entry gate.
2. On reaching the examination venue, candidates are advised to follow social distancing norms, maintain safe distance between
two candidates and should avoid crowding in the exam venue.
3. Wearing the mask is compulsory for the candidates, without which they will be disallowed for the examination.
4. Facility for hand sanitization will be available at entry gate and also inside the examination venue. All candidates are required to
sanitize their hands.
5. Contactless candidate verification will be conducted by flashing of admit card and valid photo identity proof at document
verification desk.
. Candidates are advised to sanitize their hands at regular intervals.  

Note: This admit card has been prepared based on the information furnished by the Candidate in the On-line application form.
Hence, this admit card does not authenticate the eligibility criteria of the candidate, but allows the candidate to sit in the
computer based test without any prejudice.
