4 to address bullying cases. For more of this, here is JM Montesclaros.

6 NEWS 1: Education Secretary Leonor Briones urged the public and private

7 school heads to address bullying cases immediately to avoid

8 further harm to the learners.

9 Briones stated that the school heads need to act on these cases of

10 bullying as soon as possible because this can be very dangerous.

11 Briones also noted that the Department of Education (DepEd)

12 continues to receive reports of bullying cases in schools despite

13 the passing of Republic Act 10627, the Anti-Bullying Act, which aim

14 to protect children in all school grades from being bullied. This is JM

2 Volcanology and Seismology or PHIVOLCS traced that of which

3 from their original source in Kadingilan, Bukidnon.

4 In addition, PHIVOLCS Science Research Assistant Paulo Sawi

5 stated that the 5.9 magmitude earthquake and its aftershocks

6 are most likely not related to the series of earthquake that occured

7 last October in Mindanao, on the other hand, the OCD stated that

8 several are injured and other establishments and buildings

9 sustained cracks and damages.

10 However, PHIVOLCS is still verifying the specific source of the

11 earthquake.

3 Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources warned Samar residents

4 from shellfishes covered by bays due to red tide. How and why?

7 NEWS 3: The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Region 8

8 warned against eating, harvesting and buying shellfishes in areas

9 caused by four bays in Samar province in Eastern Visayas due to red

10 tide.

11 These were Irong-irong Bay, Silanga Bay, San Pedro Bay in Samar, as

12 well as Cancabato Bay in Tacloban City, Leyte.

13 BFAR 8 Regional Director Juan Albaladejo said the water samples

14 collected in these bays tested positive for the Pyrodinium banamense

2 causing a lieutenant and 3 soldiers die while 7 were injured last

3 November 19, 2019 at Tacloban City.

4 Involved in the accident were a wing van, a Toyota pickup, and a

5 tricycle.

6 Police reported that while the wing van traversed downward the

7 highway going to Catbalogan City, Samar, it accidentally bumped

8 the tricycle and veered towards the opposite side hitting the
