Subject: Post Attached Ouarters of Postmasters - Clarification

Madam/Sir,

Directorate has received representation for clarif ication f rom Union on the
above mentioned subiect. ln this regard it is clarified lhat the orders contained in
letter no. BDG-2010812021-Buildings-DOP dated 18122.07.2022 are applicable to
all the buildings of DoP irrespective of departmental/rented/rent free buildings.
Further it is also clarified that orders are applicable for Postmaster, means, all
categories of Post Masters including sub Postmasters and Sr. Post Masters.
Circles are directed to implement the orders w.e.f. 01.08.2022 as already
conveyed.

This issues with the approval of competent authority.
