V. RATIONALE:
Many people say they have so much fun dancing that they forget they are
exercising. Zumba is a powerful exercise with a 600 to 1,000 calorie burn in just an
hour. During the implementation of Brigada Eskwela, the school initiated an activity
called “Brigada Zumba” this aims to energize the teaching and non-teaching personnel
to help improve overall health especially this time of pandemic.

VI. OBJECTIVES:
1. To provide a total body toning workout
2. To promote positive insights about Brigada Eskwela.

VIII. MONITORING AND EVALUATION

Through this Zumba, the teaching and non-teaching staff were encouraged to
join and to participate in the implementation of Brigada Eskwela 2021. With the effort
of the teachers, the aim of this innovation was attained.

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON BRIGADA ZUMBA

TITLE: BRIGADA ZUMBA

VENUE: Brgy. Puangi, Dipaculao, Aurora

PARTICIPANTS: Teachers

I. INTRODUCTION:
Brigada Zumba is a way of the school to energize the teaching and non-
teaching staff and promote positive insights on Brigada Eskwela. Participants will just
follow the lead dancer and dance.

II. ACTIVITIES DONE

With the initiative of MAPEH teachers of Puangi NHS, the aim of this
program were attained. Every afternoon, after doing each task, teachers of Puangi NHS
prepared an upbeat music at the school hall. All the teaching and non-teaching staff
participated in and enjoyed the Zumba.

III. RECOMMENDATIONS
Facilitators should continue this program every year as it is enjoyed by
many.
