3 FORMWORK USED:

• Element: Column and lift shaft

• Type of formwork: Peri LIWA formwork
• About Peri LIWA:
LIWA is the lightest PERI steel panel formwork and
deliberately dispensed with more elaborate
equipment features in favour of lower investment
costs. LIWA has only a minimum of different panel
elements. In addition, the perforated strip allows
each panel to be used as a multi-purpose panel. This
means that corners and columns can also be formed
without requiring any special panels. LIWA is a
market-oriented solution if, for example, users are
working with system formwork for the first time.
Figure 2: Peri LIWA formwork for column.

3.1 TECHNICAL DETAILS:

- Simply designed, lighter PERI steel

formwork with flat steel frames and
only a 10 cm overall height
- Formwork heights up to 3.00 m,
panel widths up to 75 cm (standard
system)
- Maximum permissible fresh
concrete pressure: 50 kN/m²
- Can be used with the DW 15 Tie
System
- Wedge Connector for standard
panel joints
- Wedge Clamp Compensation for
compensations up to 5 cm
- LRS Alignment Coupler with aligning
function

3.2 PROCEDURE OF FORMWORK:

• Panel assembly for Column Formwork:

1. Shuttering of longer side is erected

first. First, clean and oil the surface of
ply of Liwa formwork.

3. After erection of the longer side of

formwork, the panels of that side are
connected through wedge clamps. After
that, sides are placed and connected
with each other via clamps respectively.

2. Once the formwork panels are erected; wallers

are place and tighten with tie rods. Then the
formwork alignment is checked using plumb bob
at the corners.

3.3 ADVANTAGES OF LIWA:

➢ All LIWA panels are fitted with an end-to-end perforated strip. As a result, each panel
can also be used for columns as well as corner panels. Thus, the LIWA system contains a
very small number of panelised components.
➢ LIWA deliberately dispenses with elaborate designs and equipment in favour of cost-
effectiveness – however, not at the expense of application diversity or quality.
➢ Due to the construction using a flat steel frame, the weight of the LIWA panels is
substantially lower than with other standard panel formwork with welded hollow
profiles. Therefore, LIWA can be erected by hand.
➢ All required adjustments for right-angled and obtuse corners, T-junctions as well as
obtuse wall connections can be realized with very few system components.

3.4 FIVE MAJOR COMPANINES:

3.4.1 ULMA Construction:
Panel Formwork Orma:
The ORMA modular formwork is perfect for the construction of
all kinds of vertical concrete structures, both in building
construction and civil works (walls, columns, abutments,
footings).
It’s distinctive for high performance rates with minimum labour
costs and erection time.
The system is comprised mainly of panels which, joined by
clamps, make up formwork gangs. It has items that provide
efficient and safe solution for all types of geometries.

Technical Features: Figure 6: Construction of Column with Orma

Formwork
• Designed to
withstand high concrete pressures (certified by GSV)
• Permissible concrete pressure:
• 3.3 m range: 80 kN/m2
• 2.7 m range: 74 kN/m2
• For pouring heights ≤ 3.3 m, 2 rows of anchors in height are required
• For pouring heights > 3.3 m, 3 rows of anchors in height are required
• COLUMNS:
• Wide range of column panels for columns of 30 cm x 30 cm up to 120 cm x
120 cm (adjustment interval every 5 cm)
• Panel heights: 2.7 m; 1.2 m; 0.6 m
• Widths of column panel: 0.72 m; 0.92 m and 1.32 m
• Up to 80 kN/m2 permissible concrete pressure

3.4.2 Paschal: Formwork – Software – Service:

Modular Universal Formwork:

Universal formwork for foundations, walls, supports, concrete beams,

columns, shafts, round solutions (polygons), gardening and landscape
construction, precast elements.

Even horizontal structures such as concrete beams can be formed

without any problems using the Modular Formwork system. Regardless
of whether these are clamped in one axis, crossing or fan-shaped, here
once again all layouts can be formed using the Modular system without
time-consuming job building. Figure 7: Modular Steel panel
