First off, a preamble is an opening section of a constitution that typically explains the purpose and goals

of the law. Its goal is to pursue and realize the constitution's ideals. Additionally, it codifies the broad
goals and socioeconomic objectives that must be accomplished through constitutional procedures. In
addition, the preamble contains 16 values, which are visible in the preamble's four clusters. These are
Pagkama-kalikasan, Pagkama-Diyos, Pagkama-katao, and Pagkamakabayan.

First, pagkama-kalikasan contains a value that exemplifies concern for the environment. It tells us that
we should increase our awareness, make it a habit to keep our surroundings clean, and understand the
dire state of our environment more deeply. Second, pagkamaka-Diyos teaches us to respect others'
spiritual beliefs while expressing our own spiritual beliefs and to demonstrate adherence to ethical
principles by upholding the truth. These values include having faith, respect for life, order in action, work
in action, and concerns for the family and future generations in action. Thirdly, the pagkamaka-tao
embodies the values of love, freedom, peace, truth, and justice, which we must embody for ourselves
before we can communicate them to others. They represent a collection of fundamental Filipino values.
The values of unity, equality, respect for the rule of law and government, patriotism, and the
advancement of the common good are also contained in pagkamaka-bayan. These values are those that
we must uphold and live by in order to inspire our fellow citizens to pursue good citizenship.
