NERVOUS SYSTEM

Here’s what I have learned in nervous system. Nervous system coordinates

all activities of the body this enables the body to respond and adapt to changes both
inside and out, also nervous system split into two parts which is central nervous
system and peripheral nervous system. There are two structures that we need to
know in central nervous system which is the brain and spinal cord, as most people
know the brain is found in skull and the second structure is the spinal cord which
divided into 4 regions which is cervical, thoracic, lumbar and spinal nerves. Now,
there is a system that regulates the functions of the nervous system which lie
outside its major components such as the brain and spinal cord this system is
known as peripheral nervous system and it is divided into two smaller system
which is the somatic and autonomic nervous system.
The most easiest part for me is six parts of the brain which is cerebrum,
cerebellum, diencephalon, midbrain, pons and medulla oblongata the reason why I
think its easy because since we were high school we tackled about lobes and its
frontal lobe, temporal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe. the most difficult part for
me is the whole nervous system because the whole nervous system contains many
parts and its function.
The best thing to do to apply this all lesson is to read and analyze the parts
and function because all parts are important specially the brain, if there’s no brain
there is no nervous system.
