CHAPTER 3: RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

This chapter will discuss the methods and techniques used by the researcher to

identify and analyze gathered data and information that is relevant to the topic. The

methodology section allows the reader to evaluate the validity and reliability of the study.

METHODS OF RESEARCH

This study included two distinct research methods: Descriptive and

Observational. The descriptive method is intended to acquire information and giv e

exact and ordered data in order to observe, describe, and document aspects of a scenario.

The observational method is intended to monitor and study individuals' spontaneous

behaviour in natural settings. This researcher will be provided an idea based on the

method as to where the best site for the project is and what should be considered in order

to create a visual output of the project.

RESEARCH LOCALE

Clark Global City is a unique, mixed-use real estate investment opportunity

allowing select investors to participate in the growth of a world-class city development

within the Clark Freeport Zone.

The development of Clark Global City will also contribute to a sustainable,

positive developmental impact through the continuous environmental, social and

governance initiatives, resulting in broad advances for the overall society. The City is

master-planned for turn-key properties including: Premium and Grade A office buildings,
up-market retail outlets, contemporary academic centers, sports centers, an urban park,

iconic tower and modern support services and amenities.

This proposed metropolis is formerly part of the US Air Force Base, the 177-

hectare estate sits on a highly-elevated plain 119 meters above mean sea level, away from

fault lines, and protected by the Sierra Madre Mountain ranges. Clark Global City has

direct access to air, land, sea, and internet connectivity. This together with priority

government infrastructure projects, makes Clark Global City the ideal location for the

next country’s next central business district. Strategically located in Central Luzon, one

of the top growth contributors, and one of the most affluent, highly educated, and most

populated centers in the country. Clark Global City will benefit from the robust

macroeconomic growth of the region and have access to its young talented labor pool.

Clark Global City’s plans integrate a transit-oriented design including compact,

walkable, pedestrian-oriented, mixed-use infrastructure centered on high-quality roads

and pedestrian walkways. The design goal is to focus on efficient, low-impact, people-

oriented travel modes such as walking, cycling and public transit.

In 2050, the Philippines is poised to become the world’s 16th largest economy.

This will be supported by new Central Business Districts that offer solutions to road

congestion, density problems, flooding, and air pollution.

SAMPLE AND SAMPLING DESIGN

A sample is a terminology that describes the selected elements (people or objects)

chosen for participation in a study; people are referred to as subjects or participants, may

also referred as occupants in architectural sense.

INSTRUMENTS USED

Different instrument was used for the feasibility of the study and to provide

information as bases for the project. Listed below are the instruments used for the project:

Libraries

Information provided from the libraries was gathered to support the study

and serve as a basis for the researcher.

World Wide Web

The internet provided enough information and data needed by the

researcher to use in the study.

Consultation

Consultation from the reliable and valid person/department was used by

the researcher to acquire reliable and valid source of data needed in the study.

PROCEDURE ANALYSIS
When the study began, the researchers drafted a letter addressed to the Regional

Office of Deped Region 3. The letter comprises a request to collect statistics on the

current (2021-2022) population of kinder to grade 12 students. The researcher also

collected data from the Udenna Corporation in Clark Global City, Pampanga, and

Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, and was provided and certified to perform the Apiary:

Integrated School study (A thermally Comfortable Campus).

This will showcase the procedure followed by the researcher to conduct the study
