Find a way to build desirable relationships within your organization in “The Intern”.

As someone said, not all movies are bout romance or comedy, but also techniques that could be

used in real life. The intern movie is a great example of it as it tells us that is never too late, to be

confident, etc. Based on the movie "The Intern", here are some ways to build desirable

relationships within your organization.

Dress for the job you want — If you are aiming for a certain job, you should dress for it. Ben

uses an extensive collection of suits, ties, and dress shirts to appear his best from the start until

the end. The old saying goes back that it is better to dress up than because you should never

underestimate the importance of your outlook. First impressions do last.

Appreciating others’ work — Ben is more than courteous. He makes everyone feel

appreciated, regardless of their job title; he helps the mail clerk with deliveries when there is no

work assigned and emphasizes Jules’ overworked secretary when she gets frustrated with

working 14-hour days with no recognition.

Keeping things confidential — When Ben overhears a conversation about appointing a new

CEO, he claims to have hearing loss as an old person. Moreover, when he takes over as Jules’

driver, the phone conversations do not transcend beyond the front seat of their sedan, staying

between the two of them.

Finally, I believe that there is more to consider, since I am inquired to write no more than a

page, I think these are the primary insights that I could come up with. No matter where you are

or what type of organization you work for, these techniques always help you to build a good

relationship within your company.
