Test Guidelines Attention

1 Before testing, you should ensure all test equipments (laptop, test phone, test data cable, GPS,
hardware dog, inverter, FTP SIM and CS SIM without arrears) are normal. At the night before test, you should charge the phone and connect test equipment to test, to ensure that all test equipment is working well.

2The hired vehicles should ensure that the car charger is normal 3During the test, if the interruption of any equipment, you shall stop the car immediately and stop the
recording, then re-connected devices, and start recording after a successful connection,. (New logfile named by No.)

3During the test, in case of dropped calls or dropped ends, should be immediately re-call. If the FTP download is complete, or FTP is disconnected, you should immediately re-download or re-connect

Cluster Test
1. Before testing any city, according to the test report that you have, you must plan you test route.

2. Before devices connection, make sure MS1 for CS test(voice call) and MS2 for PS test(FTP). 3. Naming rules of test logfile: City_Date_No. Such as: abuja_20100710_01

SSV Test
1. Before test, the test site is located in the Mapinfo. Then you must identify routes to find the site, and planned test routes 2. SSV test aim to verify that the operation of the site is normal. All of the abnormal performance

of the site, you must troubleshoot.(For resolving the problem, you can call Tom). If the coverage signal is poor, you must choose a route of good signal, and give up the route of bad signal you have tested. 3. The most common problemantenna reversed. If you suspected antenna of the sites sectors are reversed, you must test around the station, in order to determine which sectors is reversed

c: You should ensure that every TCH is occupied by the test phone. And each TCH voice test and FTP download test must be achieved for 2 minutes d: Just for CoBCCH site, if you can not take up the 900Band TCH, you should close the 1800 band, and then test the 900band TCH.

e: For 1800band TCH of CoBCCH site and single band site, if it can not be take up after repeated calls, you can called TOM who will help you to lock AFRCN on OMC to help you complete the test. f: After the pointing test, you can remove the setting of lock BCCH and lock 1800 band.

PS log SitesNo_Date_pointing_PS _SectorNo_AFRCNsuch as B1234_20100710_poining_PS_1_812. Coverage TestLock BCCH test a: Before the test, according to map data, you must plan a good route, as far as possible to test the full coverage area of the sector. b: Under normal circumstances, the distance from the site to test end should be greater than 5 km linear distance. If not meet the requirements, you should state the reasons. c: Before testLock the BCCH of the sector

d:

To get the better signal, just for CoBCCH district, we advise you should take up 900band

TCH to test, and prohibit 1800band.

eDuring the test, you can see from TEMS map, when the distance from test point to test sector is larger, the test point is in line with the sector direction, and RxLev <-100dBm, the coverage test of the sector is finished. Then cancel locking BCCH. f:Special attention: the first part of the test route should be ensured good coverage and avoid RxLev less than-90dBm. If the situation occurs, this first part of test route needs to re-test. We advise you can just re-test these parts which is poor signal. The parts of good coverage dont need to re-test. g: Naming rules of test logfile SitesNo_Date_coverage_CS _No., such as B1234_20100710_coverage_CS_1. Handover Test a: Before test, to ensure complete closure of locking cell and band.

b: Test routes should be complete, you should ensure to have handover with the neighboring sites of three directions. c: To ensure a test route of around the site. d: During Test, if you have found a handover failure or a large segment route of poor signal, you must give up the route, and re-select test route e: Naming rules of test logfile SiteNo_Date_handover_CS_No Such as: B1234_20100710_handover_CS_1.
