About Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance:


Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-profit organization established in 1987 by a team
of Afghan volunteers, registered with the Ministry of Economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
CHA is a multi-sectorial organization implementing Health & Nutrition, Education, Agriculture, Rural
Development/ Social Protection and Disaster Risk Reduction projects in different provinces of the country.
Currently, CHA looking for qualified candidates for the position of Provincial focal point in Farah province
to ensure the sufficient implementation of Emergency livelihoods support to flood-affected farmers project
in relevant province.

Job Description:
Facilitating and training of farmers (agriculture & animal husbandry related issues)
Coordination and management of project activities for better implementation at the provincial level.
Active participation in coordination meetings at related organization and cluster meetings at provincial and
district levels.
Being in contact with the program manager and developing a project-work plan, and coordinate with
social organizers. 
Conducting supervision of project activities during implementation.
Taking a regular trip to project target areas.
Preparation and reporting of project progress as weekly, monthly bases.
An active participant in donor workshops and training.
Providing brief information about the inputs at the time of distribution to beneficiaries.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Agriculture (Master degree is preferred).
Skill in communications with staffs.
Advanced computer skills in Word processing, Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity/experience with other
software packages and systems.
Fluency in both oral and written English and Dari/Pashto.
