I am a producer for the next Star Wars film and this is how my day went:

In the morning, I attended a meeting between the production company and the staff
at the studio. The discussion was very comprehensive, including topics like filming
schedule, costume design, and special effects. Both sides had particular demands,
but both were prepared to compromise so that filming could proceed. A secretary
recorded everything in the official notes.

Back at the studio, the director asked me to hire 100 extras to shoot a scene in the
streets of New York. Actually, it was impossible to respond to his request, because
we had no more funds left for contracting actors.

After lunch I attended a lecture given by the

art director, who is an expert in camerawork
and has a graduate degree in cinema.
He said his production company intends to assist
the studio in finalizing the film. We wrapped up filming
late that night.
