Bottled water is one of the most dramatic problems in our consumerist society.
Every day millions of people around the world drink bottled water and then
throw away the empty bottle to the garbage. Consequently, the world is

conditional in the answers.
What are the problems derived from drinking bottled water? Mention two
problems at least.
One of the main problems is that when the oil is extracted and used for the
production of bottles, a lot of energy is lost in the preparation and distribution
of the bottles.
a lot of energy is wasted in the preparation and distribution of the bottles.
The planet accumulates a lot of plastic bottle waste without any control if
people drink a lot of bottled water.
When plastic bottle waste is burned, it releases toxins and pollutes the
environment.
What is the difference between bottled water and drinking water?
When water is treated, processed and then sold by a company, the water is bottled water.
If the water can be drunk by people without any treatment or problem, this water is
potable.
The companies obtain raw materials from nature for the manufacture of these, then the
companies use this raw material for manufacturing, when the companies have already
created the bottles, they fill them with processed water.
When the water has been bottled, the bottles are distributed to major brands and
distributors for sale to individuals.
Once the empty bottles are collected, if they are not thrown away or incinerated, the
bottles will be used to manufacture new, lower quality products.
What happens with the plastic bottles after we throw them away?
If plastic bottles do not end up in landfills for final disposal over the years, they end up in
incinerators where the toxic pollutants are expelled into the environment.
incinerators where the toxic pollutants are expelled.
If we encourage the decrease in the purchase of bottled water throughout the city, people
will understand the importance of drinking water consumption.
