Dear Madam,
Greetings!
We would like to request your good office consider waiving the penalty assessed to the
property in the amount of Php19,500.00 due to non-compliance. This pertains to the Notice
of Violations received last August 25, 2022, on "Operating an Air Pollution Source
Installation without a valid Permit to Operate" for The Hive Residences, located at Lot 3-C
Ortigas Ave Ext, Taytay, Rizal.
The property was taken over by new management services in the preceding months, and
the appointed Pollution Control Officer left his position and was replaced last July 11, 2022.
Based on the previous records, The Hive Residences received its Temporary Permit to
Operate valid from September 15, 2021, to December 31, 2021, but was unable to proceed
with the renewal due to the resignation of the former Pollution Control Officer. Prior to the
resignation, they were able to invite the DENR official and the Emission Testing Third Party
Contractor and conducted emission testing last December 28, 2021.
The Hive Residential Tower submitted the appropriate documentation, appointed a new
pollution control officer and managing head, and complied with all legal requirements in
order to renew its permit to operate. The Management takes all necessary steps to acquire
and abide by all regulations ordered by your office.
We hope that all the aforementioned reiterations will prevent the property from being
penalized, as we work to consistently improve our operations and give the community high-
quality services without compromising the environment.
Truly yours,
