Breaking Ungodly Soul Ties
Breaking Ungodly Soul Ties
Without breaking soul ties your soul will be in bondage and your soul will be scattered.
“… he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the
wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from
the Lord, he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
James 1:6-7
Scattered Soul
A scattered soul makes it difficult for you to receive love from your spouse no matter how much they
shower you with love. And your inability to receive love from your spouse leads you to the wrong
conclusion that your spouse does not love you. A scattered soul also keeps you from giving yourself fully
to your spouse. For this reason, it is particularly important that all soul ties that one may have formed
through fornication or vows, be broken before one gets married. The same applies to soul ties formed
through adultery. It is not enough for someone who was involved in an adulterous relationship to simply
terminate the relationship. In addition to terminating the relationship there is need to break the soul tie
formed as a result of the relationship. The breaking of the soul tie is particularly important because you
cannot have a healthy relationship with someone whose soul is tied elsewhere, a soul tie that is in
bondage. The reason for this is found in 3 John 1:2 which says:
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health,
just as your soul prospers.”
In other words the prosperity of a marriage is dependent upon the prosperity of the souls of the parties to
that marriage.
A tied soul tie not a prosperous soul. A scattered soul is not a prosperous soul. In order for any soul to be
prosperous it must first and foremost be free.
Use your mouth to claim your freedom. Use your mouth to terminate all ungodly soul ties. Remember that
the bible says:
“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you.”
Job 22:28
