DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY
Theoretical Driving Course was conducted the LTO Las Pi

GOAL/S AND OBJECTIVE/S


Goal:
 The 15 learners will make tote bags using the katcha fabric that can be sell the
product/s and set a low selling price of tote bags.

Objectives:
In 4 days, the 15 learners will do the following in making potholders.
 Create a design for tote bags.
 Sew tote bags.
 Sell tote bags in a low price.

HIGHLIGHTS
In 4 days, the 15 learners are expected to make and sew 3 tote bags. So, the expected
outcome of potholders must be 45 tote bags within 4 days. Purpose of doing this
training is to set the minds of learners/youths to earn a skill certificate before they go
into college and/or when they decided to exit in SOS Children’s Village Manila.

They will be ready in entering the world of working since they are already equip with the
skills knowledge that has been taught to them since in the village. And when they
decided to take the chance in working overseas, they will certainly be hire since they
have already the skills acquire. They will not only focus in one skills training but also,
they will be train in different skills that the CV Manila offered for the learners/youths.

Learners will learn and challenge to critically think in making business plan and compute
the prices in product costing throughout the time of the training. This idea will be used in
the future in starting up business. When the learner/s decided to start up opening
businesses in the future in generating income in case they don’t want to work in offices.

SIGNIFICANT LEARNING POINTS FOR THE IN-CHARGE

They were scared and nervous in using the portable sewing machines although they
already have been sewing using their hand in making of face mask they think that they
might sew their fingers during the sewing process. But I told them that it’s just the first time
that they will be scared and nervous. When they were already used in using the portable
machine, they will be mastered in using it from time to time.
