At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:


1. identify the proper handling of luggage safely and the common manual handling
injuries.
2. transport and deliver guest luggage according to guidelines for safe lifting and
carrying.
3. demonstrate good practices in carrying luggage that is too heavy.

II. Content: Porter Services- Handle Guest Luggage

A. Concept:
The learner demonstrates an understanding on providing porter services.

● PowerPoint Presentation for face-to-face class/Canva for online class.

III. Procedures:

A. Preparatory Activities:
1. Routine Activities:
a) Opening prayer
b) Greetings
c) checking of attendance
d) checking of the cleanliness of the classroom
e) reminders on house rules
2. Review of the past lessons:
The students will guess the sentences being identified in the screen.

3. Motivation: Combine the two pictures to create a new word. The


students will combine the two pictures together to create a new one-word
picture. The students that will give correct answers will have a 1 point.

1. Introduction of Luggage Handling.


2. Define what is Manual Handling.
3. Discuss what are common manual handling injuries
4. Guidelines for safe lifting and carrying.
