- cooking Asian and Western cuisine differ from each other due to
the use of 5 key flavors such as salty, sweet, bitter and spicy.
Asian cuisine is very different when it comes to taste, western
cuisine is more focused either on salt or sweet and make less use
of sour and bitter flavors. In terms of cooking method Western
cuisine tend to use oven, frying pan and saucepans but in Asia,
the common cooking methods are stir-frying, steaming, and deep-
frying.
