1. What is the difference between a globe and a flat map?

The difference between the two is that a globe is just a three-dimensional spherical
object. It can be completely blank or contain messages or images. The word "globe" is
more commonly used than "sphere" or "ball" when a map of the Earth is printed or
projected onto it. A globe represents the entire planet at all times. Because they are
three-dimensional, they can be difficult to transport or make large enough to display
enough information to be useful for detailed study of a small area. While when it comes
to a flat map its projections depict the Earth's curved surface on a flat 2-D surface. On a
flat surface, a map shows the geographical characteristics of a certain area of the earth.
Maps contain a variety of icons and markers that represent various geographic and
physical elements.

2. What are the required documents for travelling abroad?

Documents You May Need When Travelling Abroad
A Valid Passport
For international travel, a passport is usually required. If you do not already have this
travel document, you will need to apply for one in advance before your trip. Always
ensure that you allow adequate processing time, as it can often be a lengthy procedure.
Your passport usually needs to be valid for at least 6 months from the date you travel.
This rule can vary, depending on your destination’s immigration policy.
Make Passport Copies
It is recommended to make copies of the photo page of your passport, in case it is lost or
stolen. Always travel with a copy, and keep it separate from your passport.
Get a Visa If Necessary
Depending on the country or territory you are traveling to, you may need a visa to enter.
Visa requirements depend on the nationality of the visitor. It is important to check your
destination’s visa policy before organizing your trip.
Check whether you need a THC
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many governments now require visitors to
complete a travel health certificate (THC) before arrival. Failure to show a completed
travel health certificate will result in refused entry.
Foreign currency when traveling
When traveling abroad, it is recommended that you arrange the relevant currency before
reaching your destination. This saves you time as you will not need to organize it once
you have arrived.
Printing your flight tickets
Although most travelers now manage their flight bookings through a digital device, it is
still advisable to carry a paper version too. This avoids the risk of losing access to your
digital copy, providing you with a backup solution.
Proof of Accommodation to travel
Some countries and territories require all arrivals to provide proof of booked
accommodation.
Copies of all identification documents
When traveling overseas, it is highly advisable to make a copy of all of your identification
documents. This covers you in the case of loss or theft, and makes it easier for
authorities to identify you.
3. Explain Tourism and International Tourism.
Tourism is a social, cultural, and economic phenomenon that involves people traveling
to countries or locations outside their usual environment for personal or
business/professional reasons. These people are known as visitors, and tourism is
concerned with their activities, some of which imply tourism expenditure, we can see that
tourism is more than just the movement of people for a variety of reasons whether for
business or pleasure, but also the overall agglomeration of activities, services, and
involved sectors that comprise the unique tourist experience. On the other hand,
International tourism essentially refers to visitor activities, also known as the visitor
economy. The tourism industry includes all activities associated with the visitor
economy. This includes tourist-related activities such as staying in a hotel, ordering a
meal, or visiting a tourist attraction. It also includes indirect activities like the
transportation company that delivers food to the restaurant where the tourist eats or the
laundry company that has a contract with the hotel to clean bed sheets. Also,
International tourism is the act of traveling to a country other than your own for leisure or
business for a period of no more than one year.
