2. Labeling and Packaging Execution

2.1. Garments - Special Handling directly at article:

o Attach Customized sticker (CBSS-UK) on the reverse side of all Marketing Hangtags
o Attach the adidas standard logistic sticker on the polybag

o Attach Marketing Hangtag according to Article Description

o For Tracksuits / 2 piece garments, the labels are required only on the upper piece.
o Fold Garments according to the article description

Handling of Special Product Types:

For shorts and trousers

o Apply the Marketing Hangtag through the join between waistband and right hand seam.
o If there is no waistband/side seam use position from AD
o Fold Garments according to the article description

For Casual Shirts, Polo’s, Sweats, Jackets, etc with a button

o Apply the Marketing Hangtag on the second button down from the top, using a plastic hook, around
the button
o Do not apply through the button. If no button, see AD positioning
o Fold Garments according to the article description

For Caps
o Apply the Marketing Hangtag by using a plastic hook
o The Hook must be placed through the top of the cap
o The labels must be attached through the left side seam towards the top of the caps.

2.2. Special Handling – Primary Packaging:

o Pack each item (sales unit) individually in one packaging.
o The CBSS-UK sticker must be clearly visible through the packaging

o Remove bag containing extra poppers for all styles

o Poly-bags must be fastened with two strips of transparent adhesive tapes.

o Apply adidas standard barcode sticker ASSMC on the reverse side of the polybag

Handling of Special Product Types:

For Caps
o Every Single Cap must be packed in one poly-bag.
o The CBSS-UK sticker must be clearly visible through the poly bag
o No multiple caps per bags.
o No inner cartons
o Poly-bags must be fastened with two strips of transparent adhesive tapes

Header Cards
o Attach standard logistic sticker (SBA1, ASSMC, BCST9..) on reverse header card

o Attach CBSS-UK sticker to the front part, right hand of the header card.

2.3. Special Handling - Secondary Packaging

o Attach COSS-UK on the front panel of the outer carton, 4cm from the left edge and 4cm from
the bottom: 1x on front panel and 1x on side panel
o Attach the UCC-S&P label on the end panel of the outer carton, upper right corner
1.5in/3.75cm from the right edge
1.5in/3.75cm from the top edge
o Attach OSD2 label on the upper left corner of the end panel.
o If S&P is not possible, OSD2 should be placed on the top right corner as replacement of UCC
label.
o All labels must be unobstructed by tape

Front carton

o Shipping Mark is not required!

o Outer carton reference: Standard cartons
o Pack one article and one size per carton
o Content: According to adidas carton quantity per size
o Max Weight per outer carton, 20 kg
o Seal with H-Type closure
o No bulging cartons
o No mixed packing of leftover quantities
o Spare Space to be filled with tissue paper (pieces of carton board)
o Carton size can be reduced/adjusted accordingly
o Deviating carton Quantity on COSS-UK label must be revised manually
o Barcode of the COSS-UK must be kept, as only article information are maintained in the
