Assignment 3

Instruction: Find a case on the internet that tells how emotions/feelings play a crucial role in
decision-making. Then, write a three-paragraph argumentative essay on why feelings are
deemed important in decision-making.

Individuals can't even measure or comprehend a lot of information intelligently, so we

rely on mandatory cues like thoughts and speculations sparked by feelings to encourage us to
pay attention. Feelings are assessments of the circumstances that help us live and thrive. We
are unable to respond to messages that leave us feeling cold. As a result, we should regard
feelings as the guiding principles for all decisions, since they are necessary for client
intercession.

Every aspect of our lives is significantly impacted by emotions, particularly choice. Attitudes, in
one form or another, drive every action we take in life. Some people are much more emotional
than others, and as a result, decisions made by these individuals are commonly affected. It all
revolves around emotion. A person's perspective can be opened to new ideas, conduct is
influenced, and respect is developed when they decide the emotional connection first. Mostly,
emotions are beneficial. Our actions are influenced by emotions in a number of ways, from
making purchases for ourselves to selecting careers to finding a partner who can really love,
respect, and emotionally support us. Emotions are an element of our thinking process and can
affect even our most logical decisions. The environment we live in, the history of our families,
our education, our life experiences, and everything else about us all play a significant impact on
whether we feel happy or sad. Your family and friends' happiness and ability to lift your spirits
when you're depressed helps you make wise judgments. When you're in a good mood, you're
more likely to make smart decisions or at least make an attempt to see the bright side of a
problem. Once you're unhappy, you're more prone to concentrate on the bad aspects of a
situation. Therefore, choices made in this circumstance may or may not be wise. These
thoughts play a significant role in many of our critical decisions, which we may ultimately regret
or view as the most treasured ones, depending on what happens.

Emotions are strong, pervasive, predictable, occasionally damaging, and occasionally valuable
decision-making elements. Most people are aware that emotion has a significant influence on
our lives, but few are aware of how vital it is for communication and decision-making.
