Working Principle
The DEBEG 3400 operates in the time slots. The transmission of one AIS slot and entering the system is full

Display Systems
The UAIS DEBEG 3400 is suitable for
stand alone installation, integration into
bridge systems or for retrofit.
Depending on the installed equipment
different options and features are
available. The flexible system
architecture allows it to customise
the installation depending on the
needs of our customers.

The basic display is the Display and

Control Unit DCU DEBEG 3401. The AIS
information is displayed graphically and
alphanumerically in the same way the
user knows from the radar. In the
Situation Display up to 30 targets can
be displayed in a PPI which can be
switched to different ranges
DCU DEBEG 3401
corresponding to the radar. The targets
can be selected by means of the cursor
or the keyboard. For other functions
the user can switch to text pages.

In an Integrated Bridge System the

display of the AIS data and the operation
of the transponder takes place at the
navigation workplace. This maybe the
display of the RADARPILOT 1x00,
the Radarpilot 9x00 ARPA or the
CHARTPILOT 93x0 / 11xx series.
The information will be available on all
installed radar and ECDIS displays.

AIS targets will be displayed and treated

like ARPA targets using functions as
acquire target and display data. If an AIS
target is correlating with an ARPA
target, both targets will be merged to
MULTIPILOT 1100
avoid clutter on the PPI.

All systems offer user friendly and self

explaining user interfaces to operate
the transponder without additional
workload.

All displays are type approved by BSH

as Minimum Keyboard Display.
