Question: What are the learnings you derived from each agency of socialization that you
think have become part of your traits? Cite at least two (2) and explain the reason why.

In my opinion, family is the most important socialization because they are the one that teach us the
fundamentals of life. As a youngsters, we are dependent on our parents because they are the ones who
teach us lessons about values and beliefs. This has a significant impact on how we think about the world
since, as infants, we tend to pay attention to other people because our eyes are still closed to the larger
world. However, as we become older, we encounter a different kind of people, and as we interact with
them, whether or not their culture is different from ours, we learn how to accept and integrate into our
surroundings. These people may be peers who we have met at school or in other places. School is where
we learn about a particular subject that educates us important life skills, and as we educate, we connect
with other people. It is obvious that peers and schools are another important agency of socialization.
Being kind and considerate to others is one of the lessons I've learned via socialization, particularly from
my family, that has become a part of my personality.  I have learned that good manners are something you
should always possess. However, when it comes to school, I have learned the value of being a good role
model to every student because I believe that confidence is contagious. When we inspire other students,
they may wish to improve themselves, eliminating any possible bad impacts that others could experience
that we might also acquire from our peers. I learned how to be a good, understanding, and helpful friend
by having a good friend by your side.
