WEEK OF 10/24- 10/28

HELLO!
Our field trip to JA BizTown today was a huge success! Thank you
to all the parent volunteers who helped make this memorable
learning experience possible for our students.

Please take the time to review the information weekly for

important information regarding your student's learning, upcoming events, and valuable
reminders. Specific information regarding each teacher's classwork and assignments will be
posted directly to their website (linked below).

HALLOWEEN PARTIES- FRIDAY, 10/28

We will celebrate Halloween on October 28th with our annual Parade, Costumes, and class
parties. We will be hosting our annual Halloween parade at 8:15. Parents are welcome to join
us in the gym. The whole parade will pass through the gym once so, please plan accordingly.
(Please be aware that video recording is not allowed inside the school and please be
conscious of not taking pictures of other students without their parent's permission.)
Students are welcome to wear costumes for this event. We do ask that costumes be in
keeping with our dress-down day dress code, be appropriate content for an elementary school,
have no weapons, and have no excessive blood or gore. The Halloween parade usually takes
about an hour and needs to move quickly through doorways. For this reason, costumes that
are wide, very delicate, or have long trails struggle to fit through doorways and are not advised.
We will be ending the day with our Halloween class parties. If you are interested in helping
with class parties, please reach out to your child's class captain.

REMINDERS
A friendly reminder that school shirts must be red, white, or navy (not other shades of
blue) and have a collar. Shoes need to be close-toed. Sweaters need to be plain with no
logos and in the school colors.
