PRINCIPAL

‘Education is the basis of all progress’

With a vision to provide education beyond tomorrow Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad
forayed into education. Amassing nearly 34 years of experience, this splendid journey has taught
us that progress is possible only, if the youth is equally well educated. Today, we live in a world
that is rife with conflict and strife amongst nations. Wars – whether overt or covert – divert the
already scarce resources away from any nation’s developmental goals into unproductive, wasteful
channels with no fruitful outcome. The need of the hour is to bring about the youth to a common
forum, where the conflicts can be resolved through engagement, dialogue and mutual
understanding. We, at SILVERLINE PRESTIGE SCHOOL, have always welcomed avenues that
would allow our young, dynamic leaders to widen their horizons beyond mere textbook knowledge
and venture into the less explored territories of International Politics and Policy Making. Through
MUN, we hope to provide a unique opportunity to engage students in more productive and
meaningful dialogues, while developing strong friendship bonds. The conference will draw
attention not only to a sensitive issue of social cohesion but also issues of global importance
through different committees. The focus will be on concrete solutions and ways to make our world
a better and more secure place to live. The youth is rising and building a new future – they see the
truth of Mahatma Gandhi’s words – “We must become the change we want to see in the world” –
even as they obey their heart, follow their dreams and beat their own trail. Their path of hope,
courage, honesty and hard work will create a world whose ‘golden age’ is not beyond but ahead
of us. So, I sincerely look forward to offering you warm hospitality and tremendous support in
making this conference an incredible experience. I also extend my best wishes to the delegates and
greetings to one and all. This year the agendas are absolutely intriguing and provocative.

THE RAJDHANI YUVA SANSAD

With the advent of these activities at regular intervals in various educational institutions, the RYS
seeks to make young minds inculcate the art of SPEAKING CALMLY, RESEARCHING WELL,
LISTENING PATIENTLY AND BEING TOLERANT TOWARDS FELLOW BEINGS.

THE RAJDHANI YUVA SANSAD, is an organization aimed at organizing debates and youth
parliaments along with Model United Nations conferences for the school as well as college
students with an aim to teach the young students the art of debating and how the PARLIAMENT
and the MODEL UN works.

Our tradition teaches tolerance, our philosophy teaches tolerance and hence we have a duty
towards the nation to create awareness and to practice constitutional values. We are mindful of the
fact that not all young children are very expressive and not every social context gives them chances
of expressing their views freely. Thus, we are here to create a platform for them to exercise their
right to free speech and to speak out their views- loud and clear. These activities would be further
shaping their character along with adding to their happiness.

With this motive, we reached the Silverline Public School and here we are, proceeding ahead with
a common intention.

BENEFIT FOR THE STUDENTS

 They will get to learn the rules of procedure of United

Nations and the Parliament of India with a minimal
registration fee.
 Experienced Executive Board members will guide and
moderate the students.
 The Certificate provided by us would benefit them while
they apply for admissions in Colleges and Universities.
These events hold a lot of importance for the CV
(Curriculum Vitae) of the young enthusiasts. Moreover,
there are exciting cash prizes!
 They will learn how to face competition and respond with
ease as well as accuracy.
 A chance to meet delegates and guests from various
institutions.

ABOUT THE COMMITTEE

LOK SABHA IS ONE OF THE TWO HOUSES OF INDIAN PARLIAMENT. IT IS A PLACE WHERE ALL LEGISLATIONS ARE
DISCUSSED IN THE FORM OF BILLS IN THE MEMBERS ELECTED FROM VARIOUS STATES. THE STUDENTS HAVE AN
OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN THE INDIAN WAY OF BRINGING IN NEW LAWS POST DEMOCRATIC DISCUSSIONS IN THE
LOWER HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT.

ALL INDIA POLITICAL PARTIES’ MEET

AGENDA: Discussion on the need for a

Uniform Civil Code in India.

ABOUT THE COMMITTEE

THE POSSIBILITY OF INTRODUCTION OF A UNIFORM CIVIL CODE IN INDIA IS WORTH DISCUSSING.
STUDENTS WILL REPRESENT LEADERS FROM POLITICAL PARTIES AND SHALL PRESENT THEIR STAND ON
THIS BURNING ISSUE.

AGENDA: The Russia-Ukraine War:

Discussion on the deteriorating human
rights situation in Ukraine stemming
from the Russian aggression.

ABOUT THE COMMITTEE

WE CAN SAFELY CALL THIS ORGAN OF THE UN AS THE ULTIMATE SOLDIER OF HUMAN RIGHTS. THE RECENT
CRISIS THAT HAS EMERGED FROM THE ONGOING WAR BETWEEN RUSSIA AND UKRAINE HAS RAISED QUESTIONS
ON THE POSITION OF HUMAN RIGHTS’ PROTECTION AGENCIES. THAT HAPPENS TO BE THE MAJOR ISSUE OF
DISCUSSION FOR TWO DAYS OF THE CONFERENCE.

ABOUT THE COMMITTEE

WE BET YOU HAVEN’T EXPERIENCED A COMMITTEE SO SURREAL. WE WILL TAKE THE PARTICIPANTS BACK TO THE
YEAR 1931 AND SHALL GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO REWRITE HISTORY. DELEGATES SHALL REPRESENT PROMINIENT
LEADERS OF 1931. WE LEAVE YOU WITH A SITUATION WHERE THREE FREEDOM FIGHTERS HAVE BEEN ORDERED TO
BE HANGED TILL DEATH BUT YOU, AS LEADERS, HAVE THE CAPACITY TO PREVENT IT. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
1. You are required to provide duly filled parents’ consent form along with your name, class,
WhatsApp number, Email address, your preferred committees (provide total 3 choices in
descending order) as well as your preferred portfolios (provide total 3 choices in
descending order). The delegate fee of Rs.800/- shall be submitted along with the consent
form and above-mentioned details.
2. Once this is done, committee and portfolio shall be allotted to the delegate filling the form
after completion of delegate fee payment.
3. The allotment details shall be confirmed with personal communication by the RYS Core
Team.
4. The delegate shall be added to a WhatsApp group where all details and research material
shall be shared.
