 Today marks the 46 anniversary
th
of proclamation of Emergency
when the opposition leaders were
jailed. Everything turned out be a
nightmare with just single order of
President. We remember the
sacrifice of those who battled for
protection of democracy.
 Congress has yet again misused its
mandate by arresting renowned
journalist Arnab Goswami over
unfounded allegations. Ironically,
those who were tasked to protect
the dissent and independence of
media have engaged themselves in
flouting the same.

विद्यासागर जी ने अपने प्रेरक विचारों से
सामाजिक कुरीतियों को ध्वस्त कर एक
शिक्षित व प्रगतिशील समाज के निर्माण में
अपना पूरा जीवन खपा दिया। वे स्थानीय
भाषा में शिक्षा के प्रबल समर्थक व
जातिवाद के धरु विरोधी थे।
ऐसे महापुरुष की जयंती के अवसर पर
उन्हें शत ्-शत ् नमन।

never be forgotten. The period from
1975 to 1977 witnessed a
systematic destruction of
institutions. No other democracy of
the world has ever witnessed such
trampling of constitutional ethos at
the helm of an autocratic regime
masquerading as a democracy.
India will never forgive the
perpetrators who gave such pain
and sufferings.
 Congress and its allies have
shamed democracy once again.

25 राज्यों में 30 बाढ़ ग्रस्त ज़िलों में
प्रयोगात्मक तौर पर शुरू किया गया है ।
5500 आपदा मित्रों को और आपदा सखियों
को इसमें जोड़ा गया है । अब हम आपदा

visited Ishwar Chandra. He said,
until now I have come across
canals, water tanks, lakes, and
rivers, now I see the ocean
(referring to the meaning of
Vidyasagar, the ‘ocean of
knowledge’)
Ishwar Chandra replied, when you
have managed somehow to come,
then there is no alternative to your
carrying anything but a few cans of
saline water, since this ocean
contains nothing but saline water.
This incident about the humility
and compassion which Ishwar
Chandra Vidyasagar ji possessed. I
pay my heartfelt tribute to the
legendary son of Maa Bharti and a
pioneer of reawakening of Bengal
on his birth anniversary.

आपदा प्रबंधन के संसाधन उपलब्ध हैं
लेकिन उन्हें शासन से नहीं जोड़ा गया था।
 से प्रभावित होने वाले 350 ज़िलों में आपदा
मित्र योजना को लागू करने जा रहे हैं।
 Congress has a tendency of
hindering every development work
that happens in the country. It
cannot digest that a new parliament

मोदी जी की राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन
योजना से आज दे श के हर डीएम के पास
अपने जिले में आपदा से लड़ने के सरकारी
व प्राइवेट क्या-क्या संसाधन उपलब्ध हैं
इसकी पूरी सूची है । मोदी जी के नेतत्ृ व में
हम आपदा प्रबंधन का ऐसा तंत्र बनाने हेतु
प्रयासरत हैं जिसमें बड़ी से बड़ी आपदा में
एक भी जान न जाए। इसी के
परिणामस्वरूप जहां पहले cyclone से
हजारों जाने जाती थी वहीं गत 1 साल में
आए 3 cyclone में जनहानि का आंकड़ा
डबल डिजिट में रहा, इसको हमें शून्य
करना है । सरकार ने दे श में मिडिल व हाई
स्कूल में आपदा प्रबंधन की शिक्षा की
शुरुआत की है । मैं मानता हूँ कि आपदा के
खिलाफ लड़ने का संस्कार यदि हम बच्चों
में डाल पाते हैं तो भविष्य में जब भी
आपदा आएगी, ये संस्कार उन्हें जनता की
मदद के लिए खड़ा करने का काम करें गे।
इसी क्रम में मैं दे शवासियों को अवगत
कराना चाहता हूं कि मोदी जी के नेतत्ृ व
में हम आपदा प्रभावित 350 जिलों में
आपदा मित्र कार्यक्रम की शरु
ु आत करने
जा रहे हैं और सभी वॉलंटियर्स के बीमा
का जिम्मा भी भारत सरकार उठाएगी।
