RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE AMOUNT OF EIGHT HUNDRED

SEVENTEEN THOUSAND TWENTY FOUR AND 08/100 PESOS (Php. 817,024.08) AS
THE BARANGAY GRANT ALLOCATION TO BE UTILIZED FOR THE PHASE 1 SUB-
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION UNDER KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP ADDITIONAL
FINANCING DISASTER RESPONSE OPERATIONS MODALITY (DROM)

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Concepcion, Province of Iloilo is one of the KALAHI-CIDSS

NCDDP Additional Financing beneficiary and provided with community grants to be used for
development projects;

WHEREAS, the NCDDP Additional Financing will scale up the Disaster Response Operations
Modality (DROM) developed under the parent project in order to respond to the impact of the
COVID-19 pandemic and other major disasters and to pursue the institutionalization of CDD
principles and systems in the harmonized barangay local development planning in partnership
with the DILG. It will also pilot test Models for livelihood support to target communities;

WHEREAS, Implementation of CDD activities in line with local development planning and
implementation process shall reinforce existing, mandated good governance values in the
current Philippine Local Government Code, by facilitating more inclusiveness, broader
community participation, transparency, and accountability;

WHEREAS, during the MDRRMC meeting and series of consultations the MDRRMC and MDC
members approved the grant allocation per barangays using the policy criteria of 70% 2015
PSA Population and 30% 2017 DSWD NHTS- PR Poverty Incidence;

WHEREAS, the barangay has an approved KALAHI-CIDSS grant in the amount of Eight
Hundred Seventeen Thousand Twenty Four And 08/100 Pesos (Php. 817,024.08)
approved during MDRRMC Meeting held on October 8, 2021, this amount will be use in the
implementation of appropriate Sub-Projects to respond to the impact of the COVID-19
pandemic and other major disasters;

WHEREAS, the BDRRMC with the BDC - TWG of Barangay Poblacion approves the barangay
grant allocation from the DSWD KALAHI-CIDSS Additional based on the KC approved criteria for
grant computation per barangay;

WHEREAS, the same body approved that in the case that the Barangay has incurred savings
from the grant allocation this will be pooled to the municipal level to be access by other
Barangays with allocations less than their sub-project estimates;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Jinky D. Villaruz duly seconded by Kagawad Lorna
A. Camayodo approved to wit;
RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to accept and approved the results of L/MDRRMC
grant allocation of Barangay Poblacion of the Municipality of Concepcion, Province of Iloilo in
the amount of Eight Hundred Seventeen Thousand Twenty Four And 08/100 Pesos
(Php. 817,024.08) for KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP- Additional Financing.

RESOLVED FURTHER, copies of this resolution be provided to KALAHI-CIDSS RPMO, Office of

the MDRRMC and Local Chief Executive.
