SESSIONS AT A GLANCE
Wildlife Conservation
The session focuses on information sharing pertaining to endangered species of Pakistan, threats, and
conservation efforts by WWF-Pakistan. It also provides briefing on international conventions and online tools
that can help identify and assess the status of a particular species. An on-campus activity is conducted to map
out the species present in surrounding areas.

Change Climate Change

The session focuses on drivers and impacts of climate change with reference to local case studies. It also highlights the
mitigation and adaptation strategies and emphasizes on meaningful engagement of youth in driving positive climate action.
The session comprises engaging activities that help students analyze climatic change, vulnerability in situational-based
scenarios, and simulation to replicate and understand the process of international climate change negotiations.

Eco-preneurship
The session focuses on briefing students about circular economy, principles, and significance of it. The session
also shares case studies of relevant companies that have adopted the circular economy model. It engages
students in a brainstorming activity where groups of students are encouraged to present an idea for a product or
service that they would like to launch as a startup by incorporating the model taught under the session.

Outdoor Education Session

The students not only learn to identify species richness, but will also be able to identify intricate patterns which
connect humans to natural environment. They are engaged in hands-on-activities (such as nature scavenger
hunt, nature photography, hike, clean up, etc) that instill leadership, teamwork, and survival skills.

Innovate for Nature Conservation

The expert-led session aims to introduce the students to tech world that is paving a way for addressing
environmental challenges. The sessions helps trigger curiosity among students to brainstorm the innovative
solutions that make the use of environmental technology that aims to conserve, monitor, or reduce the human
impact on the environment.

*The themes and activities are subject to change due to external factors (such as speaker’s/venue’s availability, background of the participants, etc.)
