This collection of paintings is an exploration of colour, form and line-- but most of all, of
intuition. The paintings were done without planning the final product. ln this way, they are a
raw expression of the feeling or the memory tapped at the moment of creation. They are two
dimensional slices of being- expressions of inspiration.

These paintings are heavily inspired by particular subjects. Several were painted to live
music at concerts. Number 71 was a collaboration with dancer Deborah Barkman and
explores the image of the Old Woman, or Crone.
