Purpose:
❖ Re-establish advisory to
➢ Build a more cohesive 7-12 climate (7-12 being in 1 building)
➢ Improve college and career exploration and planning
➢ Integrate social emotional learning & executive functioning
➢ Reinforce school pride using Tiger Way

❖ Length of advisory would be 30 minutes 2 times per month on Wednesdays, but No advisory on district wide late
start weeks

Agenda:

❖ Getting teachers access to see the curriculum

❖ Adding 2 additional Advisory dates - one in Jan & one in Feb to do registration

❖ Feedback:
➢ Naviance has been taking a shorter time than expected - short check in at the beginning? Follow up
meeting at the end
➢ Possibly add more team building
➢ more time for grade checks or use extra time for that

❖ Google Presentations:
➢ Making the lesson more "well known" on the slide
➢ Continuing to add the "troubleshooting" slide

❖ Check to see where we are at with Google Slide presentations
