My name is Sizanani Mpofu, a Zimbabwe Open University student in the Faculty of Education
Department of Teacher Development studying towards a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. I
am carrying out research on the challenges being faced by teachers in maintaining discipline
following the abolition of corporal punishment in Zimbabwean schools. The information that I
