ESSAY: What is the major goal physical education? Explain your answer.

Physical activity has been part of our everyday lives. A simple move of our body
can count as a physical activity, either by walking, running, and even just doing
chores can be classified as a physical activity. Doing physical activity is important
not only in our body but also in our mental health, it can help to release stress and
bring relaxation. Doing these things daily can help our body and mind be
physically fit. But also doing physical activities we also need some knowledge
about it, on what its major goal for our body, these is where physical education
enters the topic.

Physical education is a curriculum that is responsible for helping students to


understand the value of this activity for their health, recreation, and social
interactions. Physical education has a direct effect on the growth of physical
competence and fitness of its students. Physical education helps the students'
academic learning as well as their physical activity patterns. It helps them to be
informed the choice and value of a healthy active physical lifestyle. Physical
education helps with the development of a student's physical and motor skills.
These skills can be developed through Patterns, group games, sports, and
repetition. Through physical education students can learn on how to enhance the
skills that they’ve developed for their sports interest. Not only physical education
helps students to developed and enhance their skills, but it also creates a way to
guide students to a healthy living that can decreases the risk of illness and can
increase its life expectancy. It is necessary to adhere to the levels of physical
education because every level learns at a different pace. Physical education helps
students on what should they learn at an appropriate fitness level that correspond to
their healthy lifestyles. Goals and objectives should be established at all ages so
that they have something to build on when they reach adulthood. Each level is
necessary to progress in the development of fine motor skills. Having a high-
quality physical education program can fosters students' physical competence,
health-related fitness, self-esteem, and overall enjoyment of physical activity.
Physical Education not only focuses on the physical fitness, but also it affects the
other important aspects include mental, spiritual, social, emotional, and moral
health. All these things are acquired through the same sets of physical activities
that can provide an individual with numerous benefits. Physical education is also
considered as a play way of education since it really educate people on the various
important issues such as proper eating habits, right lifestyle and many more
important issues that physical education talk about. Others may have a different
perspective when it comes to the definition of physical education, some believe
that physical education is a human movement which a person achieve through
several muscle activities that involves sports, gymnastics, exercise, and dance. But
others see physical education as an education that provides instruction for student’s
acre and development of their body ranging from a simpler exercise to tougher
ones. Despite of the different believes in physical education, it will always have a
same thing and that is physical education informs people of all these factors and
assists them in achieving good health throughout the various activities it
incorporates.
